Kevin was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Bishop Kelly high school and acquired a 4 year degree in electrical trade school from Boise State University. After being in the electrical trade since 1997 he started his Electrical Contracting business in 2009. Kevin and his wife Sarah were married in 2001 and they have two children Solomon and Shiloh.
He has been involved in Crossfit since 2009. Kevin’s love of fitness is how Crown Performance began. His mission was to create an environment where people could focus specifically on olympic style weightlifting and have access to the most advanced and experienced coaching. Kevin is USAW level II certified. For the past two years he has been mentored by Coach Micheal Conroy who is an international USAW coach. Conroy has helped influence Burkes coaching as he was director of USAW coaching for 30 years.
